Ooty is accessible by road and makes for a great drive from Bengaluru (295 km). You can encounter plenty of wildlife but lookout for the speed breakers. Ooty is around 100 km from Coiambatore and 185 km from Kozikhode. It is accessible to other nearby towns of Kotagiri and Coonoor. Public state buses and private taxis ply from nearby towns and cities in Karnataka and Kearla.
